In this exquisite photo, the godfather of pro tennis, Jack Kramer, demonstrates his form in early 1946, just a few months before heading out to reclaim the Davis Cup for the United States. The print is made from the original 4" by 5" transparency, and was shot for a SPORT magazine article on Kramer's conversion to the dark side. NOTE: As a security feature, images that appear on the website contain a watermark ("The SPORT Gallery") that is placed across each image.
