Playing hockey into the summer has its advantages and disadvantages. In Game 3 of the 1975 Stanley Cup finals, on May 20, 1975, goaltender Roger Crozier stops the puck while surrounded by a cloud of fog at Buffalo's (unairconditioned) Memorial Auditorium. Though the Sabres would win the game 5-4, Crozier's team would go down to defeat in the series, four games to two, to the Philadelphia Flyers. Image is from the original colour transparency.
