Open Edition Giclée Fine Art Archival Print
Cover of the December 1967 edition of SPORT magazine, featuring UCLA Bruins Basketball player Lew Alcindor attempting his famous skyhook shot. Alcindor would later change his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and would go on to be one of the best NBA players in history.
Covers are available on 16×20 stretched Premier Art Canvas. The 1.5″ depth carries the SPORT name, date, and cost in order to replicate the original magazine spine.
Covers are also available as giclee fine art prints. The finished art, available framed or unframed, is inscribed “The SPORT Covers” with the date of publication. The cover reproduction itself is approximately 11″ wide by 1 41/4″ high. The inscription adds 2″ to the bottom, so the total frameable image is approximately 11″ wide by 16 1/4″ high. There is also a 1″ white border on all 4 sides so the total print size is approximately 13″ wide by 18 1/4″ high. When matted and framed, the product is approximately 18″ wide by 22″ high. Frames are solid wood, and mounting and matting is done entirely with quality acid-free materials to ensure long life.
