Refund policy
Please note we only offer return for store credit (in the form of a gift card that never expires). We do not offer refunds. When your returned item is received and inspected to confirm item state we will issue you store credit or a gift card. See full policy below.
Exchange Policy
We offer exchange or store credit on unworn, unwashed items. Special order and custom order items can not be exchanged, and are final sale. We DO NOT offer refunds. Items for exchange must be brought back in the original sale condition, with tags attached, with no signs of wear or odour. If you receive an item that isn't quite right our team will happily help you find something else.
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.
Extended Holiday Season Exchange Period
We've extended our exchange policy for the holiday season! Items bought as of November 1, 2024 can be brought back for exchange or store credit until January 15, 2025. Please note we do not offer refunds, but our team is here and happy to help you find something else!
Items must be brought back in original sale condition with proof of purchase to authorize an exchange.
Sale items and custom order items are always final sale.
Gift cards cannot be refunded.
We can complete your exchange by mail or in-store.
Follow These Steps Below to Initiate An Exchange
To Initiate an Exchange please email our team at hello(at)thesportgallery.com with your order number and your reason for the return. If approved you will receive instructions to return the item and will receive your store credit/gift card for the value of the item (minus any shipping costs incurred at the the time of shipping) once the item has been received and inspected by our team. Please note items must come back in original sale condition, with tags attached, and in the same packaging it was received in, or equivalent packaging. Please read all policies on this page regarding your exchange. Note: A $10 fee will apply to all used return labels to help cover the cost of shipping the item back to us. Only customers located in Canada are eligible for a return label. If you are located outside of Canada you will need to bring the item back to your local post office and ship it back to us.
Exchanges (if applicable)
Once your item to be exchanged is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. Let us know which item you would like to exchange it for and we will prepare it for you. If the item is higher in value than the item you are exchanging you will be sent an invoice to be paid before the item ships. If the item is lower in value than the item you are exchanging it for you will receive store credit for the difference.
To process an exchange for a gift
If you have received a gift you may exchange/return it for credit or for another product.
In Store Gift Exchange
You can bring the gift back for exchange at our store in Toronto's Distillery District. To exchange a gift in store you must have some proof of purchase so our team can locate the original order to process the exchange. This can be a gift receipt or order email confirmation. If the gifter can provide an image of the receipt number and date that would be sufficient to locate the order.
Item Condition for In-Store or Mail Exchange
The item must be in its original sale condition with tags attached, no marks showing wear or odour (i.e. deodorant marks, smoke scent, etc). If you are exchanging a Football Town shirt you must return it with the original gift box it came in.
Exchanging a gift by mail
You will have to cover shipping charges to return the item. Once the item has been returned to us in its original condition your credit will be processed. Please be sure to include a proof of purchase with the shipment. This can be the original receipt or order number, image, or proof of date and time stamp for the purchase so we can locate the order in our system. Please take care in packaging the item for exchange, it should be shipped in proper protective materials and shipping box or poly mailer.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Sale items are always final sale, and cannot be exchanged.
Replacements (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item because your item has a defect please send an image of the defect to hello@thesportgallery and initiate the exchange.
Shipping
To return your product, you should mail your product to: 15 Tank House Lane, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5A3C4. Please take care in packaging your return item, shipping in the original package or a similar one.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund on an order for a special reason, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Return an item outside of Canada
Please note that if you are located outside of Canada you will need to arrange return shipping back to us in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
